ABOUT US

     3rd Street Dance has been in business for over 30 years and, with this experience, we've designed our program with our students needs prominently in mind.

     --Teachers.  We're extremely proud of our outstanding staff, whom we've hand-picked for their superior skills as teachers and their ability to communicate clearly. Our teachers create a fun, comfortable class atmosphere and are always available to answer questions.

     --Class size.  Our classes are small enough to allow our teachers to provide individual attention and to answer your questions. 

   
 --Program Curriculum.  We offer a more comprehensive program than any other dance studio in Los Angeles. Because we have more than one classroom, we often run two or more classes simultaneously.  This gives great depth to our program and we are able to offer beginning thru advanced levels in each of the popular styles of dance. Our program's versatility allows you to advance at your own pace;  many of our students attend class two or three times per week.

 --Studios. We have 5 studios, each custom designed for the sole purpose of teaching and studying dance. Each studio has sprung hardwood floors, wall to wall mirrors, excellent
sound systems, plenty of natural light and air-conditioning.

3rd Street Dance is an excellent rehearsal facility for various types of
commercial production, and is also used as a location shoot for
commercials, television shows and movies.     
                              
           We were the premiere studio and home of
"Dancing with the Stars" and "So you think you can Dance" for 4 years!

     --Location. On the south side of 3rd street, between Cedars-Sinai office towers and the Beverly Center, we are located in the heart of Los Angeles and are walking distance from some of LA's most exciting restaurants such as: Orso, Locanda Veneta, and Barefoot Bar & Grill.
